mexican hot chocolate: serves 8.
1 C. hot cocoa mix
2 C. boiling water
dash of ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
6 C. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
whipped cream
chocolate syrup
1) combine cocoa and water in pan; bring to a boil and reduce heat, cooking 2 minutes.
2) add nutmeg, cinnamon, and milk and simmer for 5 minutes. whisk in vanilla.
3) top with whipped cream, a sprinkle of cinnamon and some chocolate syrup.
enjoy and drink every last drop!!!!
